Dear Elmwood families—know that your children are in good hands each day, under the caring and watchful eye of teachers who love God and want to see your kids grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Daily Procedures

How the school day flows

Afternoon pick-up

Please pick up and be off campus by 3:15 PM each day so staff can return to after-school duties. Students remaining after 3:15 PM must be supervised or enrolled in After-Care.

Safe driving

Student safety is a high priority. The parking-lot speed limit is 10 miles per hour; violators may be subject to fines and removal from campus.

Carpool

We sometimes need help transporting a couple of students right after school. If you can help, please contact the office at 303.659.3818.

Authorized pick-up

New families must submit emergency-contact information by August 30th. Every student requires an authorized pick-up form, available from the school office.

Lunch

Lunch & Little Chef’s Kitchen Lunch Program

Because Elmwood Christian Academy does not have a commercial kitchen, we are unable to prepare or serve meals on campus. We encourage parents to send a healthy lunch with their child each day.

We are also pleased to offer The Little Chef’s Kitchen Lunch Program. Managed by Chef Gabriel Park, this optional program provides fresh, nutritious meals at an affordable price. Meals are prepared off site and delivered to the school warm each day. Families who wish to participate may place orders directly through www.thelittlechefskitchen.com.

For those occasional mornings when time gets away from you or your child forgets to bring a lunch, the school also keeps a limited selection of microwaveable meal items available for purchase. This service is intended as a convenient backup option to ensure that no student goes without lunch.
